I absolutely hate doing this but I feel that it is best for my babies to go to a loving home where they will be played with more often. I have started working, school will be coming up, and I am just no longer home long enough to take them out for as long as they need. They do get out often but ferrets need hours and hours of playtime and they're not getting that. It is unfair to them and I never dreamed I'd be doing this. I am very attached to my sweet babies so I want them to go to a home that will care for them properly, preferably one that has had experience with ferrets or has one would be better :)
Their names are Ellie and Miles.
Ellie I have had since she was 12 weeks old and she is now a year old. She is sable. She is very playful and gets along with Miles just fine but doesn't like to share a cage with him. I take her with me places and she does just fine. I walk her on a harness sometimes and she does really, really well with it. She is only about a pound and very small. She is litterbox trained.
Miles is a blaze marked ferret and he has such a pretty color, we jokingly call him a possum because his colors resemble one so much :) He is 4 years old. He is HUGE! He weighs over 2 pounds and he is deaf, though it doesn't affect him at all. This affects most blaze ferrets. He reminds me of a little bear and is so sweet. When we first got him he was very skinny and hadn't used a litterbox but he took to it immediately and hasn't had a single accident. He's also gained a lot of weight, he's much larger than Ellie. He mostly keeps to himself and he sleeps a lot. They are both equally sweet animals. I have videos and pictures of each if you'd like to e-mail me and I can send them.
I would be willing to separate them only because they are caged separately and I'm not including a cage. They also aren't very bonded and would do okay without the other. However, I'd love to re-home them together. I will include food bowls/water bowls, hammocks, bedding, litter boxes, food, treats, and harness, just ** not the cage**.
If they go together I will charge $100 or $60 each. I just want them to go to a really good home. Thanks so much for reading, if you're interested please e-mail me.
